Test Machine Modernisation Service
Mechanical testing standards are changing every day, and manufacturers of different types of materials and testing laboratories need to adapt their existing testing
machines to updated testing standards.
Material testing is an innovative requirement, so the user’s current testing machines will not be sufficient for current testing procedures for several years after purchase.
To adapt user testing machines to existing applications, testing machine upgrades are a more functional and economical alternative to purchasing new testing equipment.
After the modernization and repair processes of your test devices are completed, your devices will be under Tensile Grips Technical Teams warranty.
Essential technical support, spare parts and service support and maintenance will be provided by Tensile Grips Technical Teams .
Test machine modernization consists of the following processes:
Addition of new electronic controller and new electronic control unit to test machine
Mechanical revision of test machine
Hydraulic power unit maintenance and new hydraulic power unit/hydraulic element addition for old test machines
Grips and test fixtures design and manufacture for test machines
Test machine accessories integration
Tensile Grips has a team of specialist engineers with sufficient experience to modernize test machines manufactured by other testing machine companies.
We have experienced modernizing the machines of the following tester manufacturers:
Instron test machine modernization, Galdabini test machine modernization,
Satec test machine modernization, Deltalab test machine modernization,
MTS test machine modernization, Hounsfield test machine modernization,
Tinius Olsen testing machine modernization, Zwick Roell testing machine modernization,
Baldwin test machine modernization, Schenck test machine modernization,
Forney testing machine modernization, Sintech testing machine modernization,
Adamel Lhomargy test machine modernization, Walter Bai test machine modernization,
Testometric testing machine modernization, Ibertest testing machine modernization,
Hegewald & Peschke testing machine modernization.
Electronic Controller and Software Revision
Tensile Grips fers a new electronic control panel (with all necessary electrical components) and a new software system to meet the requirements of the new system.
Our engineers integrate the new electronic control unit, new electrical panel and computer-controlled test software into your old test equipment, ensuring that your
old test machine works withmodern software and electronics.
According to the status of the current system, the addition of servo motor, addition of inverter, integration of soft starter system, use of new drives could be the stages of modernization of
the existing test machine.Electronic control system; dynamic tests, static tests, biaxial tests etc. selected according to the type of test to be applied.
Tensile Grips Teams use Doli EDC Controllers (German Origin) and Doli Test & Motion software for retrofits of test machines.
Hydraulic Power Unit Modernization of Testing Machines
Tensile Grips Technical Teams offers its customers hydraulic power unit modernization, high-tech components and hydraulic element maintenance.
We do the following for hydraulic power unit modernization:
Piston and actuator maintenance
Accumulator system repair
Oil tank maintenance
Union system, pipe and hose maintenance
Heat exchanger, chiller system maintenance
Servo valve check, servo valve repair or addition of a new servo valve
Position measurement sensor replacement or repair
Filter maintenance or replacement if necessary
Addition of temperature control system
If the hydraulic unit in the existing system cannot be used in the new system, Tensile Grips Technical Teams engineers design and supply a new power unit with suitable hydraulic elements.
Mechanical Maintenance of Test Machines
In order for the retrofit to be done properly, some mechanical maintenance may be required to make the existing testing machine efficient.
Mechanical test systems modernization includes the following actions:
Machine body, test apparatus and all mechanical parts of the test machine are controlled by experts.
Grips and test fixtures are repaired or new ones are produced by Tensile Grips Technical Teams according to the relevant test standards.
If necessary, the machine will be completely painted.
Loadcells are checked. In case the loadcells do not work, they will be replaced (additional loadcells will be priced according to the type and capacity).
If there is any damage in the system, it will be repaired or replaced with new ones.
Difficult to use systems are ergonomically designed according to user requirements.
